Chris Doughty founded Peregrine Bird Tours in 1984. Originally from the UK, he has been living in Australia for over 44 years where he has travelled extensively. He is the most experienced bird tour leader in Australia and is acknowledged as one of the worlds highest experienced bird tour leaders.

Chris is one of the minority who have seen over 800 bird species in Australia, also adding new species to the Australian list.

He has field experience with over 8,200 bird species and has led over 233 birding tours, to every corner of the globe.
